Wolf Creek should do well. The SW flow does not bode well for Vail but the Beav could do ok. Tricky system...when will the winds shift to the NW?

In October.
The BC point forecast for Grouse looks fairly promising, though.Last edited by smmokan; 03-06-2009 at 10:44 AM.

Nice, so hopefully this goes off. I'll probably ride Sat, or Sun, or both if it turns out to be good.

3-6 still looks reasonable...front will pass and heavy snow will occur when it does

I officially felt like a real Coloradoan again yesterday. Instead of the concern for 6 inches of snow or more before I get excited which developed during last years epic season. Back to reality yesterday, 15 minutes of snow that didn't accumulate was enough to get my blood flowing.
That front better pass and leave some snow or Montanaskier will be hearing me yell and curse at the sky on my porch. Should we be burning skis? Sacrificing old binders? Gasping ski boot incense? Anything to make it snow

So much for snow. Sunny here in Leadvegas.
Nice weather for ski jouring, though. 6 foot jumps down mainstreet, gotta love it!Skiing, whether you're in Wisconsin or the Alps, is a dumbass hick country sport that takes place in the middle of winter on a mountain at the end of a dirt road.

You're beyond clueless, aren't you?
If you'd ever meet and ski with maggots instead of your constant intermittent pot shots, you'd realize none of the posters you're referring to live in Summit.
Seriously. You've been here how long????? and not skied with anyone? Stalkerish to say the least.
It just started nuking here in summit though!!!!!!!!!! W00t!

Yep, and the "nukage" lasted about 45 minutes. It was clearing up again when I left A-Basin around 1:30.
I don't know what its doing over in Vail/BC, but A-Basin MIGHT have gotten an inch during the day today. Pretty horseshit.

Been all over both counties today from Gypsum to Breck. Barely snowing down low in Vail, Puking on Vail Pass, Puking at Copper, and light snow in Breck.

Its shitting HARD in Vail now. If it keeps up tomorrow might be deep enough to cover up the coral reef.
[/anti jinx Ullr, oh and thanks for coming back. I think its deep enough in Jersey now]

Berthoud had about 4" at 2:30pm with intermittent squalls of heavy snow, then sunshine. Wind loading nicely in spots.

About 3 inches in an hour at my house and now its totally stopped again. Clouds thinning and I can see the moon again. Don't you just love southern Delaware in the winter?
Although, I am guessing it will be deep tomorrow since I have to work all day and won't ski.
