I wouldn’t say good to go, but it’s doable out there.
I was on mount falcon yesterday and that trail had everything, snow, ice, dirt, and mud, I was just hiking but saw some bikes out there but I wouldn’t have wanted to bike it.

Waterton canyon I was out running on, did a 27 mile jog as an out and back a couple of weeks ago and the road was dry but the trail was snowy/icy once it got to the single track portion past the damn, it’s shady in this trees so I’d imagine it’s still pretty icy.

Heading to bike Matthew winters today, which is usually in shape earlier so I’m hopeful.

I'm thinking of finally giving Pueblo Rez a try, those little slot canyon trails look kinda gnarly

This deserves to be reposted again. I've been working non-stop to meet a deadline. Will finally be on skis in 48 hours. Thanks for keeping me going...

I get it but still, better to be prepared just in case vs hindsight all because the wrong box was checked. Nice article in the paper about your presentation btw.

The limited snow we’ve gotten has been so faceted by this long spell of dry cold nights. Not setting up well - to state the obvious

Just dropping by to remind everyone that Colorado will have a really shitty winter unless Alabama loses hope of winning the national championship.

Maybe a little. I've skied 10 days so far this year and have been in traffic a total of 0 minutes since September.

Just saw a NWS forecast for the next 3 months. Below normal precip, but not super strong signal, and above normal temps, this one is a stronger signal.

We luck out and get an intermountain esque pack occasionally

Long shot....heading to Silverton Jan 7-10. I'll be solo, but if any of you dudes will be in attendance, hit me up. It be great to get paired with some like minded skiers/riders.
