Given what happened up at the Eiseman hut over the weekend, I'd guess the 9" at Vail is legit.

Vail was awesome this morning. I got fourth chair up the eagle bahn. Game creek was wind affected so I went to the back. The bowls were deep. More than 9 inches for sure. Face shots all morning and caught a rope drop on après vous. Waist deep in many spots. Got tracked out quickly but goddamn was it nice

This will go down as the Vail Christmas Miracle. I figure I was on or close to the podium for the Ghengis rope drop Chinese downhill comp.
I have more skis and bikes than Facebook friends.

What wind direction favors Beaver Creek? It's hard for me to fathom a 9/1 disparity between BC and Vail.

Yeah, Vail was deep. Skinned over to EV to avoid the crowds for 2 laps and it was ridiculous. Legit waist deep. I logged some good time in the white room. The bowls got chopped up, but were still deep at 3.

Another sneaky 3 inches at vail... I can confirm at least an inch or two fell on the valley floor. Was this even expected?

Yeah, it's feeling a lot like 10-11 and last December with all the frequent small totals. Nice to see storms stick around a bit for once.
