Stupid Joel, I-70 ski traffic is all his fault. It definitely has nothing to do with a million extra people moving to CO in last decade.

For Colorado, Thomas Horner, Highpoint Weather. His writing is intelligent, like we're adults capable of critical thinking. I'm really surprised his blog doesn't have more traction. @highpointwx on insta. No fb for me but he's on there, as well.

Meanwhile, Joel is pointing out which state is Colorado. He caters to folk who only scratch the surface of things. It's like eating fast food, no substance, no real meat. I'm so over his hemming and hawing.

It’s much worse when there’s pow day hype. All the joeys head up to flail around for a couple of runs and then sit in the bar for the rest of the day.

Good snows at the tunnel today
the drugs made me realize it's not about the drugs

Ran errands to Summit and skied a few hours at A-Basin in the afternoon. There was a bunch of traffic going west over LL, and big back up wb at the tunnel, but smooth sailing going east. The studded Hakka 9’s are worth every cent.

Indeed, the sound of water dripping off the roof laying in bed last night had my mind telling me "hero dirt tomorrow!", only to be then quickly let down by the realization. Maybe a chance lower sidedoor or something becomes rideable one last time with the really warm weather coming this weekend.

Perfect 75deg weather for tailgating and football in Boulder yesterday. Getting on the field after the win was a bonus.

Haven't even considered skiing yet, but riding out in Eagle/Gypsum was stellar this weekend. I'm fine with Indian summer till turkey day.

I did landscaping. Well I hiked a couple of miles with my dog first. One interesting thing now is to look at prints in the shallow snow. There are really big hoof prints, must be elk, but also many many dog/coyote/wolf/fox type tracks. I want to see if I can figure out some routes.
