    Latest thoughts on the North American long term outlook:
    The good pattern of snow-bearing weather will eventually expand out to the majority of the Rockies, with the exception of the far Southwest for the 10-20 day period. Tahoe and the Rockies (including Colorado) should both do well out of this period, once the initial 5 or so days pass.

    https://longrangesnowcenter.net/2019...-9th-december/

    The medium term outlook for the next 10 days worth of forecasts shows 10-20” for the Colorado Rockies, with up to 25” in Gunnison County peaks.

    This is probably a good time to plan on meeting at The Jane and then not doing it. I'm pretty much a regular Sunday afternoons followed by closing down Pepperonis.

    Condolences to all those involved. Shitty deal.

    I was up there all day skiing a different zone. Pretty unnerving knowing this was all going down at the same time.

    Challenger ran so some trees/trails off that. (Phantom Bridge over to Sleeper). Sliucebox was knee deep early as well. And Drunken Frenchman.

    It was hammering again at lunch and on top of Berthoud when I left. NW flow!

    EpicMix = Strava

    If you're using either of them, you are a dork, and therefore your holier-than-thou aspersions cast at the other (same but different) dorks cancel out.

    That’s a horrible comparison.

    EpicMix = FourSquare

    Aspen’s skiing just about as good as it gets.
    Lots of $59 tickets and Passapallosa this weekend.

    Good coverage out there for sure. Imagine Vail is going to open a lot of stuff this weekend. Looks ready.
    Keep getting invalid file for some reason on pic. Anyway, you guys don't like Vail anyway but it's right here so fuck it.

    Next storm should set things up nicely. Looked like a lot of terrain off Pali is very close. Copper skied awesome Monday with most of Sierra opening, winter is here!

    Seems like every ski area has terrain just begging for this one good storm. Most the stuff up high here in Breck looks just about ready.
