Raining on Everest when I was climbing down from the summit around 2:30 this morning. Weird year for sure.

Sorry for the spray. Was on a personal exhausted weird mission not to use windshield fluid for deeming it as good as a DMT 2 second high, at most.
Running H2's as well (studded) for the next few years at least. Normally my I70 stretch in this kind of rain event, I get a little mini-hydroplane-y on my last tires. No issues yesterday.

I am really thankful for all this moisture. Though if we don't get a somewhat wet summer, this storm will be helping provide a bit more fuel for the fire season.

One of the worst fire dangers I recall seeing living here was one year where it was wet wet wet all the way through mid July. Everything was amazingly green long past the time it should be. Then the faucet turned off. And all that beautiful green turned to fuel.

Beaver creek was fucking insane today. Best day of the season for me.

Got first tracks down strawberry park, larkspur, grouse mountain. Insane. Bottomless turns all day. No one on the mountain. Fucking gorgeous day.

Snow wasn’t even too heavy. I was on my fat skis and floated down the mountain like a majestic unicorn

    All time day today

I rode today too! Copper was stupid fun, even with no Sierra, Spaulding, and back bowl through the morning.
The whole Alpine area was so damn good. That 25" in 48 hours was hanging out in the trees in many places.
Snow was thick, but it was very playful. Stomping landings #likeaboss

Think I will hit up BC tomorrow. Might be last ski day barring a Basin day or two.

9 was very good today. Very surfy and fun. Things were getting loaded all day with the NW wind. Cat was only running for a couple of hours in the afternoon. Golden Bear, super bowl and wild child didn’t open afaik so tomorrow should be good on the ridge. Everything else was pretty beat by the time we left around 3.

Righteous, I know the cat doesn't run on mondays which is fine with me, keeps the terrain over that direction mostly unskied.
