Love you too buddy. I've got better things to do that get in an e fight with some tough guy so I'll just say this. You are either part of the problem or part of the solutions, it is a choice. If trailheads become "gatherings more than 50", they will be shut down. Vail uphilling - shut down. WP uphilling - probably shut down soon. What next?

RMNP shutdown at the request of the mayor of Estes Park. He said his community can’t handle tourists with limited available resources during this shutdown.

What did the NPS think was going to happen when they made admission free?

There was a video on Facebook, one mans junk, for like 5 minutes before it got taken down or deleted that showed cars everywhere parked along Loveland pass and people walking along the highway. One quote from it
“You know you’re parked right in an avalanche path, right”
    “Yeah it’s all good”

Edit: just in a different post know.

I predict Loveland shuts it down shortly due to the asshats parked today under the sisters. We got some great turns on the far skiers right side of marmot and in the mood.

Loveland was good assuming you could find a spot. Over on the pass, folks were standing shoulder-to-shoulder with their thumbs out and jam packed into the back of trucks.

Jane skied great today, but C lot was full by noon, with parking on the street. Hope it wasn’t the last weekend of uphill access, but writing has to be on the wall...

I'm not pointing on fingers as none of us have anymore right to any public lands than anywhere else. This is simply a status report up here in Grand County: Its fucking tense. The odd ball collection of kooks, deviants, not so mentally stable, escapists who chose to set up shop in this crazy little place are losing their coping mechanisms. The silly little nooks and crannies down by the river, out in the woods and up on the peaks are overrun by people looking to get outside. Fair warning, you poke you SUV down some obscure road to go on a ski, please respect peoples space and don't be surprised if someone you run into is less than excited to hang out with you.

I'm pulling for it. They're towing cars/writing big tickets in San Juan county that aren't registered to the county, hoping it gets enacted for summit too.

I don't know what the answer is but it just seems incredibly tone deaf right now to roll up to the VRBO and spew your retarded dog party and small tribe of spawn upon a community that is experiencing something like 50% unemployment right now and has incredibly strained resources. But hey...the dirt pimps are still bombing my email with price reductions and there is a Q7 in the ditch down the road. Time to soldier on. Business as usual up here in paradise.

They’re still allowing short term rentals there?
