I’m hoping this storm is like the one a couple of Fridays ago when I70 was clear to Silver Plume and it dumped on the divide on NW flow.

Copper skied pretty good today, definitely some soft snow to be found. Wonder how this is going to work for them with dew tour plus snow in the forecast. They already go to corn lot multiple days a week now and fill it most Saturday’s I imagine.

Thats the great thing about the NW flow. It dumps FEET in the mountains and I70 is clear Denver to silver plume.

Good to hear! I'm headed that way for a few days. Hope there's still some rocks left for me to hit! These Abasin rocks are getting a little dull, I need some of that good old fashioned CB quartz monzonite! Not even bothering with tuning the skis before either.

With the forecast at the end of the week you might have to work kinda hard to actually find rocks to turn on, but I have faith in you. You can do it.

With luck Monday was the lowest tide day of the season.

I have a knack for finding rocks, especially sharp ones. I should be good. Hopefully it doesn't snow too much that they are all covered. I hate that.

If you can't find rocks to turn on at CB you're doing it wrong.

    Any recommendations?

Monarch was colder than a witch's titty, but fun. Country club skiing there. Absolutely nobody on the hill. Almost surreal. If only they had some steeps.

Wow, even the usually conservative CAIC weather guys are calling for some bigger totals. Seems like everyone got on board with the bigger numbers now. Wind included. We'll see what happens.

Keystone now has Mumps and Bumps. So I'd avoid going there even more than you usually do. https://www.summitdaily.com/news/mum...summit-county/

That kind of wind as forecast could shut down lifts and highways all across the state.

    Make your move early

Montezuma closed and both Beavers and Lenawee are on wind hold as of 1pm.

The masses better hope the wind dies down early enough on Friday that they can start working on getting stuff reopened or else Saturday morning will be a complete cluster. Could be the first real weekend test for the Ikon partnership.
