A burger at Powerstop is hard to beat. The Dive is good but a little over priced. I think Garlic Mikes is pretty over rated (I may get voted out of Gunnison for that). If you want higher end Blackstock is pretty damn tasty.

I'd agree with all that except I like garlic Mike's a lot. El Paraiso wins because of the mocajete.

Haven't had mocajete there yet, but that's one of my new favorite Mexican dishes. I'll try it next time. And I'm sure we will hit Garlic Mike's one of these days.

A guy named Harry Trubonies tried to open a strip club in Frisco years ago. It was gonna be called "The Cornice Club". Apparently it was a scam he was running where he would find towns without an ordinance against strip clubs, then threaten to open one, and sue when they shut it down. So needless to say, it never happened. But it was kind of a big deal in the news for a while. Ah, simpler times.

A molcajete is just a monster mortar and pestle. I make all my salsas and guac's and other stuff in it. It is also a serving vessel for such things.

I don't know about all that, but the place in Frisco "Nuevo Vallarta" has one and it is muy grande and very tasty.

Garlic Mike's is decent, I always thought it was pricey but I was a poor college kid then.

Anejo's>El Paraiso for me. I've drank way too many margs in that little hallway of a building.

Lupita's - Yeah, closed till spring. But sometimes they are open randomly. Can be hit or miss depending on staff and crowds. When it's good it's good.

Cinco de Mayo on Steamboats west end has my vote for Routt county's best Mexican right now.

Before uber was here we would tell tourists the strip club was in Craig, you could get there with uber.

Caught the premiere of the MSP movie last night, I thought it was their best effort in years. I love fall, but I have to admit I'm pretty ready to ski now.

I went to Buff pass proving grounds yesterday. Lot's of vehicles getting beat. Parked next to a poor car with 2 flats from rocks. No owner in sight.
Single track is riding good. Amusing how many groups we saw consulting gps apps like trailforks/mtb project/onX et al., yet seemed to have no clue where they were. At least some would ask for help.

I guess she's basically inviting a bunch of promiscuous women to visit our state so I can't hate it too much right?

    Colorado Weather Discussion Thread

Biden was at Camp Hale today for the National Monument dedication.

“When you think about the national beauty of Colorado and the history of our nation, you find it here,” the president said moments before signing the proclamation. He pointed to the area’s highlights: “the Tenmile Range, soaring peaks and steep canyons, black bears, bald eagles, moose, mountain lions, wonderful pristine rivers, alpine lakes.”

“These treasured lands,” he said, “tell the story of America.”
