NOAA’s long term winter forecast looks bleak. Hopefully they’re way off. Warm/very warm in Dec, not much snow until March.

I have a feeling it’s going to be another season of “pattern change 10+ days out”

I only ride 401 every few years since it's usually too crowded and a bit overrated as a whole, but in mid-October, it's quite awesome, we didn't see a single person.

    The wifey enjoyed as well:

Last weekend on Last Dollar might have been the best colors I’ve ever seen. Every damn tree was on fire. My pics hardly do it justice but we had a great fall for colors down here.

It's amazing how long the colors are sticking around yet again, just like last fall. Even down here on the northern Front Range, I'm blown away every time I go outside - the colors are incredible everywhere I look.

Hopefully we get more moisture this fall than last, despite a very similar weather pattern.

The variety of color in Denver is highly underrated IMO. My neighborhood is all red, orange, red-orange, orange-yellow, stunning yellow and green. Nice change from just yellow and gold in the high country.
