My grill got blown across the deck and the whole house was shaking just before 6.

At least we got a few inches of snow out of the squalls

St00pid windy at Wolfy base right now, but not that cold. No way we're letting folks ride the lifts.

I was watching the wind forecasts and a bunch of friends heading down there to storm chase wondering how it was going to work out....

Nice dark wall of clouds ominously came over the foothills and to Denver during the front passing through. Some rain/snow but some sun coming back out.

Last night in Silverton was fucking intense. I forgot to stack my shitty plastic deck chairs in a good spot so they gave me quite the shock at 3am when they smashed against the wall of the house then flew into the street lol. The Eagle weather station showed a gust of 103 MPH last night and Kendall peaked at 93 mph. Crazy.

Bailed on skiing because I couldn't get myself out of bed at 6am but it's fairly calm now and the sun is popping out. Not as much snow as I hoped but the wind lived up to the hype.

EDIT: I guess Eagle peaked at 112 mph. That's some Mt Washington shit, god damn.

Might be on the money with the time there. Appears that They turned em for maybe an hour. Winds picking up again?!? Whoda thunk?

Hard to tell with the morning's wind, pow cam only showing 2", but 4" in my parking lot. Wind stopped an hour ago, pretty much dead calm now with moderate-heavy snow.

The thunder was a nice wake up call at 5am near sbt. Temps went from 39 to 20 in less than an hour.

After all that, 4" and just light flurries now.

Closer to 4" in spots on the mountain, but man the wind did a number. Upper paradise is a sheet of ice, there were some soft, wind sheltered turns to be had though. I mostly just froze my ass off this morning though.

The triple digit wind gusts made it to the springs.

It was a blustery one at the basin today but chairs were spinning and the snow was soft except where it wasn't. Nicest snow I have been on this year so I was having fun.

I thoroughly enjoyed Len parks and falcon area yesterday. At least it's smooth and a few lipped out bushes to boost!

The limited terrain at winter park skied soft today. Nice weather after 10:00, then the snow and wind got fierce around noon. Probably 5 or 6 inches. Super gauge and looking glass lifts open tomorrow and the additional space will be nice.

Multiple people with signs, rocks, logs flying through windows and windshields in Denver today. Fucking insane.
You should have been here yesterday!
