Some dude has been scraping his car windows out in front of my place for at least half an hour with a credit card or something. Think I should tell him to start his car yet?

how'd you manage that? Do you have any tread left? I bought a brand new pair if Blizzaks in November. By May, there were almost completely smoked. granted, I was commuting 45 mins of interstate each way for most of that time and did a couple trips to JH and SLC, but still.

It’s actually on my wife’s car, Subaru’s with haka nordsmans. They still look new. She gets 3-4 years out of them and commutes over a mountain pass a few times a week.

The Blizzaks on my wife's Subie have 20,000 on them and they're just about done.

I leave my snow tires on all summer. But they are that "hybrid" type that are AT tires with a 3PMSF rating.

Commuting on a bike probably helps.

We have had Michey X-Ice tires last 5 winters. The 5th winter was probably pushing it a bit, but still better than all-season/summer tires.

yeh. that's what I had. Awesome for driving in snow. awful for durability not on snow.

20k is 3 seasons for us, so they're going on the 4th right now.....and it could be closer to 24k now that I actually think about it. That doesn't seem too terrible to me.

    Yeah, those too.

I'm left my Hakkas on one Summer. They had 39K miles on them and I figured I'd use up what was left for the helluvit.

I checked them about 5k miles into the Summer, and I burned off only about a mm.

Word is that Keystone is ready to spin. Whenever the Basin announces, Keystone will announce to open before them.....even if they have to turn on the lights and open st night.
