I applaud your new word. That’s neat. But you can do better.

Vail Pass closed. Been awhile since I’ve said that, but a good start to the weekend. Some rain early this evening, followed by some non-champagne. Maybe Champale.

8" of dense cream up top, I'll take it. I'm just not chomping at the bit here like some of the locals right now but I'll sneak in within the hour and surf some leftovers. Should be better tomorrow if we get more tonight, plus slightly colder. It is moist af.

    Ikonic...

FYI next year's passes go on sale Thursday 3/10. $519 for renewal, not terrible. Added 3 days at Bridger but no Ikon blackouts next year

Also, has anyone with an Abasin pass been able to use it for a discounted 50% lift tickets at any Mountain Collective resorts? We asked at Taos if we would get 50% off tix after we used our 3 free days and the lady told us no. Wondering if it really works at other places like Jackson or Snowbird.

I knew it! You are welcome I guess. Enjoy for me. It’s a cloudy gloomy and windy 70 degrees in Missouri if you are concerned about me at all.

Definitely have had a few friends get the 50% off days with mtn collective, I bet they just don't do many of those there and the lady had no clue.

Was honestly a little astounded that Taos is like $175 a day these days.

The Korean food on your IG looked pretty good, so I won't feel too bad for you. And on the plus side I had to go to Gunny this afternoon and it was warm and sunny so your flight should be fine

Jong Lafitte and I waited 20 seconds at Beavers, longest line of the year over there.
The crust didn't get buried, and visibility was quite challenging up high.
We were really enjoying the Dog woods, but SG4 was my favorite of the day!

Winter Park was very fun yesterday. Felt like a lot more than 2-3 inches in the right places.

Yesterday I got to witness the biggest dose of Karma get delivered. The douchebag that lives up the road from me, the one who is constantly going 20-30mph over the speed limit at all times, passes aggressively on this road headed up Strawberry Park, tailgates all the time, 90's model Range Rover, yada yada...well yesterday he passes me as we are both headed home, he came up behind me so fast I didn't notice him until he passed. Road conditions were slushy, unplowed, and also icy af underneath the slush. I was going the actual speed limit of 35. Anyway D-bag passes, in a no-passing zone, right before the major sharp downhill hairpin curve. Proceeds to fishtail back and forth several times before ditching himself as I narrowly passed him. I laid on my horn out of sheer happiness. He's lucky no one was in opposite lane.

Was the perfect way to end a semi-pow day that felt like skiing in PNW. My gear is still drying (to get this back on topic).

Don’t look at Eldora’s daily ticket price.

Naturally I did since you mentioned it and wow, at least with Taos you get fun terrain to ski for your money haha

After all this time, I am going to check out Cooper this week. I am hoping for some vibe nostalgia and figure out if I want a pass next season.
