Those are pretty much the best up there, especially under current avy conditions. Just farm the glades. If you have a snowmobile you can go to other stuff further away but not worth it if just skinning.

Made it home with a full belly of Korean BBQ mostly on time. Fingers crossed for the forecast moisture over the next couple days I fully plan on playing hooky and making up for missing out on the last storm.

Agree. Start stoking the sauna mid afternoon and you can get it roaring hot by post-dinner.

Going up North Star is cool for the views but the skiing was not great up there in my experience. Fun easy tree skiing laps just about the hut as mentioned, which held some pretty good snow days after a storm.

North Y was fun on the east wall today, some crunch and plenty of rocks underneath but I expected that. Pali skied decent too. The bumps are becoming for real out there.

Yeah, good day in the boat. I wasn't a believer at first this am, but I bailed on work at 11, walked onto the gondola and headed towards 1st/2nd/3rd pitches. I missed the storms over xmas so deepest turns of the season so far for me today. Breaking trail sucked.

well damn. the um couple inches at the basin was actually skiing pretty nicely and some of the regular areas were really well filled in with some help from the wind. trying to decide if its worth going into work late tomorrow, thursdays are kinda over staffed anyways for us.
