Last weekend's shred session with the better half. It was really fun but I'm totally cool with another few weeks of bike season

much better than my attempt, I was told it was comical though, straight line to high side the first turn into a yard sale.

Since this turned into the leaf peeping thread. This is from Steamboat last weekend up at Hahns Peak. Might be the best I've ever seen in Colorado...

Funny you say that, the dune skiing was a "last weekend of fun before surgery" type of weekend. The femur rod was removed this morning, but this should be a cakewalk after everything else- a couple of days on crutches, skiing in January.

Oh wow, well best wishes to you both. Skiing isn't great til January anyway! You should go to the beach, hehe.

    Let there be snow.
Do I detect a lot of anger flowing around this place? Kind of like a pubescent volatility, some angst, a lot of I'm-sixteen-and-angry-at-my-father syndrome?

    fuck that noise.

Are the leaves gone on Kenosha Pass now? I’m hoping to avoid that level of traffic on Sunday.

    They’re coming off fast.
But they’re still a lot of leaves in the RFV.
Tuesday’s storm will probably strip the majority.

Can't wait for the true slow season, when leaves are gone, ski resorts aren't open yet, kids are in school, and fucking nothing going on. Never knew how much I'd miss it. Haha.

Good hiking then football weather today.

Am I allowed to post one more? It might be the one of the best leave pics I’ve taken this season, just yesterday on the bike path in frisco.
