    Sorry

In other news, it snowed hard in the northern mountains.

Did anyone participate in Bluebird’s opening weekend?

2" reported snow. Apparently my boots are 2" tall or the blackout skiers just stayed in their lane.

Fritz and Gary might come off as weird, but at least they aren't shit talking people in a weather thread on an internet forum (AFAIK).

He hasn't learned since last year:

Step-1 - fluff your feathers/pound your chest about how radical you are.
Step-2 - get called out for not conveying the risks (or your risk tolerance) to others.
Step-3 - walk it back by: (a) further beating your chest about how radical you are as well as an excellent judge of terrain, snowpack and weather, and (b) qualifying your post by saying trust your own judgement, etc.

That would be fine (sort of), if he didn't repeat this pattern over and over again. He's the anti-Bruce Tremper, IMHO.

Until you get caught in a slide, you always made the right assessment.

What exactly is this event in downtown Denver tomorrow? Is it a contest among pros? A contest for the general public? Can anybody hit the rails? I’m sort of thinking about taking my 4-year-old, but not if it’s going to be dumb.
