Has anyone been to Vail recently? I'm going for first time in a few years. Are the cliffs in China Bowl still sick?

No, they cut all the cliffs down.

He's right. It's been one of the biggest stories among the locals.

Vail Corporate made the decision to cut the cliffs out of the bowl in 2021. Everyone is pretty sure it happened after one of the execs at the company had a son who got injured going "full send".

    Sucks.

Thanks. I think I'll make the trek over in the morning.

Got to Wolf Creek at 0830. Got one lap on Bonanza and they shut the place down. Left the skins at home. Wont do that again. Point forecast called for 30-40mph winds today. Crawled home with my tail between my legs. interesting drive to say the least.

I mean, I think you are trying to explain to me that CB is a better ski area day in day out than Wanker Pancake.

Does CB have tubing hill? What about a gondola? Evening fine dinning? And what about the arduous drive from the Front Range?

I was heading to Highlands when the Schools got swatted and they closed the road. Would have been even more CC than usual.

Still pretty dam nice riding walk on Gondi’s with your best friend and various hotties.

Fun morning at the basin, wind definitely had its way with the snow a bit but overall it skied well, just heavier in the exposed areas. Dogwoods were exceptional.

I think a cat tried to go down/ went off the edge to face shot gully. A slight delay to open Pali then when they did west wall was closed and I later noticed some odd tracks down that way when going across Davis.

I can not make up my mind on where to chase this storm. Small wave tomorrow and what looks like a strong wave Sunday

Honestly I thought that was the best P/S day of the year. Perfect snow- you could surf and go fast, but also toss your bases into it and instantly regain control in a cloud of powder.

Yo gb! We are heading to the butte in a a few weeks for the kids spring break and stoked, love that place. In case you didn't know I'm not a new person, I've been here the whole time, I used to be called Ireallyliketoski, now you can call me Irlts because my old account was hacked and then renamed and I couldn't recover it, that's my sad story. Great season so far, good to be back.

    What town?

Seems like a lot of the middle country folks are going beach vacay this year.
