How was the Basin? Curious if that 5” was an under report

I went to Breck, for the first and last time this season. Basin only from here on out.

Copper was better than I expected! Definitely fun turns. Viva came up and we did a couple of BIG loops of Spaulding all the way down to east village. Very scenic and pristine. Then back to Tucker which was skiing great! I'm hooked on that taco line. Anyway, not that deep but def untracked and lovely!

If somebody could ski with this guy tomorrow at A Basin, should be fun!

Basin skied like it was 5". Maybe a bit more in some areas that didn't get tracked from earlier in the week. Plenty hard and rocky/stumpy underneath. So happy I got a fresh tune to grab that under layer.

This made me chuckle. And the idea of him passing the million other folks camping in Fruita, looking for a spot.

When you have a kid and a camper and plan to arrive Friday afternoon anywhere in Colorado, it's a rookie move not to have a reservation.

Oh it was very good up high. Had bottomless turns in many places. He either got upset there was a bit of a line for maybe an hour or so or has no clue where to go. I'd assume both...

We need more of this. So many people at Wanker Park doing in wrong yesterday. It creates more opportunity for the rest of us. That said, you wanna park like an entitled jackass and all up block in an entire parking lot...well it's not gonna end well for one of us.

First few runs on Falcon were great

T bar line was typical Breck Effect

Snow got heavy and it was really nasty underneath 6

Imperial opened late so never made it up before I had to bail.

Always feel like I’m chasing around at Breck, so yeah guess I just have no clue where to go.

Insanely crowded. 18 Road was fun with the kid, but holy shit, people.

And the camping looked like a music festival.

Everything used to be so much better but for those who don’t know any different the same
Same difference is what you are applying to those from the 70s
