    Sure, I've never skied Purg.

Luckly, we don't have to stand in lines very often. Unless the rip out 1A, then we'll be fucked too, but that's a whole nother thread.

After a month of not skiing following knee injections, a few laps this morning did not suck. Knees are a bit sore -- hoping to slowly progress back to full strength. Gonna be hard not to giv'er tomorrow and Sunday when we don't have to work from home.

The snotel value changes from the Durango area are insane. A 25% increase in snowpack in less than 3 days.

It has been unreal down here. Yeah the mtns have a lot of snow, but nothing That doesn’t happen every few years. The crazy thing is the low elevation snowpack. I’ve had 50” at my house in Durango since Valentine’s Day, and near double that in Durango West hood.

No shit! Staying home today (Aspen Springs) , cause I have someone bringing his skip loader to un-choke my driveway and move around a few tons of snow. I'm on the verge of being trapped here.

Wishing I were in SW Colo instead of the fucking Boulder wind tunnel.

Purgatory was the big winner with snow and Telluride did alright as well. I miss those days when all you did was shovel snow, ski deep pow, drink beer and sleep like a rock. Lather, rinse, repeat

fucking responsibilities and the need to have a decent paying job.

Saw some pics from Durango (in town), looked like 1997, when were getting up on our roof to shovel and jumping off the roof.

The only pic I got of downtown was out of focus didn’t notice till later. Bummer, was a neat view. Businesses were piling snow 8 feet high in berms to get out of the way. Click image for larger version.

Help me out. What is the protocol when there is a weekend storm forecast. Do we hype Weds and Thurs, bitch Fri and Sat then ski leftovers on Sunday afternoon?

According to the opensnow and Facebook comments, yeah that is exactly the protocol.
