Surprisingly good yesterday in CB, but also sadly the closing day. On to the best season, the second season..

Ran into a buddy of mine at the bar afterwards and he hit 2.7M vertical feet for the year. I was impressed.

Had a depressing as shit talk with a friend who’s a firefighter in the mountains. I know it’s not a big revelation but with the CA snowpack situation, he said to expect another long summer of heavy smoke in CO. Sucks being downstream of them.

Buddy left there yesterday. Said it was wind affected near/above treeline. Good skiing below treeline, 6" new yesterday. That's all I know.

Hate to piggyback on jtran's request, but does anyone have anything at Steamboat better than an Ikon buddy pass? Headed up to ski with an old friend for the weekend.

Here's some stoke from the last day of the old Chair 9 at Telluride yesterday.

Had a fun morning ripping around until all the lifts were closed at Vail too. A couple big graupel bursts but no real new snow to speak of.

I watched a dumpster enclosure get blown over yesterday. Crazy winds. Apparently a gust hit 103mph in Frisco.

We were going to ski the Basin yesterday on our way home from Aspen, but meh, wind fkd refrozen storm skiing didn't seem appealing, drove home instead. The drive from outside Denver to Ft Morgan was almost dust bowl like. Crazy. Need to pull the weeds out of my radiator and change my air filter.

Shout out to Tu Casa in Gypsum for one heck of a tasty $20 plate.

Also, Snowmass was so good. Godamn.
