    Damn that's nice.

Is the monsoon season arriving anytime soon? It's hot as shit already. With 2020 being the year of suck, I'm guessing we don't see a drop of rain for weeks.

No sign of any monsoon moisture. It’s hot up here. Our cases are at 60 the past 5 days but the hospital is still in good shape but we are full of TX and FL folks for sure.

^^ There's a silver lining to every weather pattern.
Did the bike/hike thing up to Rogers Peak this evening, absolutely gorgeous out there.
They should close the road more often, I'm a big fan!

not weather related, but this is the best place to reach a bunch of FRangers: does anyone have a camper place (or just a guy) that does good work? Our camper has a bunch of little things wrong with it, and I don't have the desire or time to fiddle with every last thing. And the local place in Boulder sucks.

"Large" fire reported on top of 3 Mile in Glenwood. Requesting air support. Lightning I am guessing.

Nice to get a little moisture this evening and some nice cloud cover today to take the edge off.

Statewide storm rolling due North. Not something you see every day.

Some pretty cool lightning over the northern front range. Hope it doesn’t start anything in the hills. Will take the rain for sure.

Had some of the hardest rain/hail I've ever seen in Breck yesterday afternoon. Main street turned into a river and was washing away tables/umbrellas left and right. It only lasted for a half hour or so but then the consistent rain lasted until maybe 4am. Sure as shit ain't a single bit of dryness out there for now... haha

Were you there in the summer of 2011 when everything flooded after 3 inches of rain? Airport road and hwy 9 to blue river were both underwater for a few days. Actually, I think it was more than a few days. I remember having to drive the long way around for quite a while.

It was puking hard in my area yesterday afternoon. Electricity, WIFI, and satellite all going out intermittently. Maybe three-four more days of this. I'm suppose to drive up to South Dakota on the bike this week. I'd hate to get caught in a deluge on the way up, that happened a couple of times in Ohio. Not fun.

There's been a ton of development since then, for better or worse, maybe improved drainage, maybe not. Also, that Goose Pasture Tarn dam ain't doing so well, that's what I'd be concerned about now.

the trails was money this morning, mud greasy east coast roots and rocks, humidity, about as much fun as a fourteen year old with a huslter magazine
sure beats dry rutted loose and dusty old lady like trails
I was crying about all this rain but hell mud is fun

Saw a headline didn’t read close but I think there was like 9 inches of rain in NE Colorado over the course of just an hour or two

Going to hit Betasso tomorrow morning, putting that "it drains really well" conventional wisdom to the test!

I wasn’t living in breck yet but I remember being amazed that it went straight from record snow year and snow til the end of June to monsoon season.
