The terrain sucks. No need to go anywhere but Breck and Vail.
I was up there today too. Didn't get the rope drop, but i was pretty close.

Hung more towards the middle of that beavers opening and it was pretty funny just skiing past people falling and stuck everywhere. The trees on the next 3 laps I took were pretty great tho! Went back for some Pali laps after that. Groomers were good old ripping fun too.

So uhh a gondola cabin fell off the eagle at Copper during some testing or whatever today. Swimmingly.

China bowl rope drop was great, probably only 75 people there. Got 5 great laps until they closed it for a medical right under 36 at the bottom.

no shit? maybe normalish while testing but man, that sounds bad. I didn't watch the news video, but heard there are only a few people in the world that can splice those cables?

Yeah, that funky powder tripped up a lot of people. Saw some woman fall and almost fully submerge as the layers of the snowpack sunk..like quicksand.

No, the trees are awful there. Stick to WP or Vail.

I heard who it was, but don't want to post until I know for sure, but 2 sources said head injury. Fucking bummed, especially after a good friend fractured his skull yesterday. Patrol closed China bowl to get him out.

I realize this is not a vibes thread but I wanted to share some stoke. He was a big part of the community here in Boulder as well in the Vail Valley.
