I am rolling the dice and betting I can get to CB in less time than it will take most front rangers to make it to LL or the tunnel. I am usually wrong about these things so expect Monarch Pass to get shut down early Saturday morning.

All the locals are just pissed cause they just moved from NH.

Maybe it’s a wrong location but using the excuse of someone flicking a cigarette out the window is ridiculous.

All aboard the Openshow hype train for Friday’s storm. All of Denver metro will be driving up to ski on 10 trails.

Which would be right next to a several hundred acre private bike and ski area in Conifer that is fully operational due to a 50 something year old guy with more skill and money than anyone I know. Black Mountain yo

"Black Mountain Ski Area is the vision of a passionate property owner who wanted the ability to experience the finest powder skiing on his own 450-acre private property."

I mean... good for him. I'm happy he is doing whatever it is he's doing.

I've never been interested in achieving anything. Not really a goal-oriented person.

Thanks for link on that place. His trails look fun to me. Also, the trail building company is hiring fully remote "trail artists", sounds like a cool gig.

Looks fucking cool to me. Those woods look dark and damp.

Looks dope, you guys are just jealous.

On those days where the upslope doesn’t make it to the divide, it’s probably superb powder skiing!

Whoa, big totals overnight. 1” should really soften up the WRODS for Friday’s 5” storm in Summit.

In the last 12 hours, the models have backed off some of those higher totals slightly. They will probably continue to fluctuate but overall, they still look pretty impressive. I will be very surprised if Wolf Creek ends up with less than 3 feet of snow!

Things are shaping up for additional snow next week. Wheeeeeeee!
