I got an Epic through work. Plan on spending more time down in CB on my days off. Probably won't use it at Breck or Keystone, maybe BC.
Taos and Monarch days on the Abasin pass too. Maybe string together a few Silverton unguided days in the spring. Really, nothing out of the normal for us so far but we'll see how it all pans out.
Also noticed this Basin pass benefit that I forgot about:Purchase lift tickets at 23 Mountain Collective resorts at 50% off the window price

The Basin might not feel the need to limit pass sales when on any given day the total number of people will be limited by parking. But it will suck for you if parking is full when you arrive, you might wish they had reservations.

They've said won't be usinh their most distant lots. People won't be shuttling from Keystone when the lots are full. A Basin will ski fine when the lots are full. And the lots will be full a lot.

So no chatter yet about what to do with the half hour to hour long stationary group, waiting for the chair to open?

I get the sense that most of the resorts are really not interested in policing crowds and lines that are outdoors. From a public health guidance perspective, the resorts don't seem to have to comply with much when it comes to being outdoors.

Colorado Weather Discussion Thread
It needs to start snowing soon.
This 20/21 ski ops speculation shit is exhausting.

fuck no, no early snow!! hahah
Bike season is always too short, but mostly I can't say I'd be a fan of an early shit layer for the snowpack especially with the hoards that are gonna be in the BC this year.

Yeah, I want no snow at all until it starts dumping. The transition season when the skiing is still no good but the biking isn't good either just sucks.

Yes! No big snow until mid-Nov.
Loving this biking season.

Fuck that. Each bike ride feels like it could be the last. Works for me.

It was deliberately later in the day. Wife wanted to ride it while there were still leaves, so this weekend was our last chance. I think we hit it just right considering. There weren't too many leafer-gapes, and light was still good till I was waiting at the bus stop to catch a ride back up.
