Yeah, the stankiest of the anky. Would love some more wet gloppy stuff, but we'll take anything.

Nothing like waking up at 2am and hearing water running that shouldn't be.

Its snowing because I am coming back to town on Sunday and going straight to the desert for 10 days. That being said, we are bringing our ski gear and hope to catch some turns on the drive back to Denver.

I love interesting weather. Yesterday morning would have been a nice day to ride in Gunnison, with temps in the upper 40's- while Summit was getting pounded and Denver was single digits. So weird. 3 of my favorite words popped up in NOAA today- "persistent westerly flow". Hoping we can catch up a bit in Crested Butte, it's been snowing steadily so far this morning.

Sort of? I moved to Boston and got married last weekend. Shuttling back and forth to Denver for business and skiing this winter.

Been flurrying at the office, where we got a solid 4" from yesterdays surprise. I'd guess the same to double on the good aspects on the mountains.

Snowmass and Highlands have been socked in most of the morning and Ajax now....... this could be a nice productive week.

Been enjoying watching pictures from the bootpackers in highlands bowl filter in.

    From NOAA:

"CURRENT HIGHLIGHTS IN EFFECT LOOK GOOD AND WILL CONTINUE WITH THE
ADDITION OF A FEW MORE ZONES AS DESCRIBED IN THE SHORT TERM
SECTION ABOVE. ADDING UP TOTAL SNOWFALL THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING
SHOWS SOME AREAS SEEING 2 TO 3 FEET OF NEW SNOW AFTER ALL IS SAID
AND DONE. NOT A BAD START TO WINTER...FOR THOSE OF US WHO LIKE
SNOW...WITH ANOTHER 5 WEEKS TO GO UNTIL ASTRONOMICAL WINTER
    BEGINS."

Been pounding between Edwards and Vail all day. Just got sit in the gridlock for a jack knifed truck. Ended up driving down the median and headed back to Avon.

    Love it.
