Surprise 3" overnight here at the boat but 50's forecasted to infinity. Town busy AF. I plan to hunker down and nordork it for next two weeks or however long until we get more snow. I think it's gonna be a death wish to ski the one ribbon we'll have.

Honest thank you for that one - my dog looks like a cross between a coyote and a wolf. I put the blaze bandana back on her neck.

4 degrees this morning. Too bad we're in for two weeks of dry and mild, almost truly felt like winter. Happy T-day, mags.

Yeah, it was in the teens, cold, blustery, and snowy in the San Juans yesterday, it felt like winter and I was feeling it. The forecast bites though. Back to riding bikes, I guess.

    Amen.
I got about 20 pow turns too and could have gotten quite a few more.
But it’s first day and I skied well.
    No need to push it.

Had fun skiing with my kid at Copper yesterday. Pattern change for Christmas?

Boo fucking hoooooooo. Yeah it sucks. Real bad. But it is only Thanksgiving. And there are lots of ways to spice things up. But yeah, it really sucks. I keep thinking that if I keep going, eventually my expectations will be below the threshold of enjoyment and I'll be stoked. But no, not yet. I'll let ya know how it goes tomorrow. All I really want is an 800' vert bump run and I'd be pretty happy.

Gonna shred the white ribbon tomorrow, but not gonna lie temps in the 50s make me not very motivated to drive to the hill. Whatever, guess I'll keep riding bikes.

Its as if people don't remember when the ski areas didn't open until the beginning of December. The SNIAGRAB mentality that dictates that season season starts when summer is over and you want to go skiing god damn it is hilarious.

In some respects I jealous of those who's life is so in order that you are looking to kill time on three icy trails. Other the other hand, I'm stoked for the little bit of quiet that it affords. Don't forget to get pumped about mountain biking about the first of April and then bitch that it's raining in the desert.

Haha yes. I have an acquaintance who posts every time he skis and he’s on like day 10. Every time I think: really, who have nothing else going on in your life that you have time to ski 3 icy trails over and over and over, every couple of days? And you feel the need to constantly post about it on social media?
