Gratz forecasted 3" so it'll be at least 12", that guy is way off.

What do you guys think about heli skiing in silverton this year? Let's say I had 1000 dollars to spend on some heli skiing and wanted to heli ski, should I go there, what about something some place else.

Unless the San Juans get hammered, I’d look elsewhere if that money is burning a hole in your pocket. It’s so thin in SW CO.

With $1000, I'd rather do a couple of days of cat skiing.... especially given the conditions down in the San Juans this year.

I'm aware. I'm just having a season from hell and only have 4 days total, with no days in the BC. Hoping to put the skins on finally this weekend.

Tuesday was great, glad I went, would do it again, but way more Piece of Mind today.

That wet snow did a good job of not blowing away. Weird how much windier it was in genessee than on the hill today.

Saw Al's blog of 116% average snow pack. Seems a bit disingenuous. He specified up on Grizzly, but in Basin with skier compaction and sun, I don't think the rocks are 116% covered.

How's berthoud hells half acre, etc. looking?

Looks better than I expected. Hope the San Juans (and everyone) get hammered this weekend.

No issue finding snow at Silverton.
Even on a low tide base, the terrain here is top shelf !

It's starting to hammer at Vail. Fat flakes and more than an inch in the last hour. Storm is right on time.
