Confirmed deep at Vail. Still dense and surfy, but lighter than the last few storms.

Hope you've all got cold wax on your big sticks.

I like this denser snow for early season. The coverage is phenomenal, especially considering we had nothing a month ago.

Bear Lake hit 40" last night. Hidden Valley should be sufficiently filled in. I'll be heading up there tomorrow. Hopefully it's cold enough today that everyone only does one lap and they leave me some pow.

What an insane turn around... Two 18" reports at AB in a week? Fuck yeah... I haven't even been up once yet, but have already started cancelling shit for the middle of January... Whatever it is I might have been doing, my ass is calling in SIIIIIIIICK!

Man, Vail reported just about the least amount of snow for the state, but skied/is skiing so good. Let's see some stoke from the 20"+ crowd!

Its not the size that matters. Can't say I've ever hit Raspys cliff this early before. What an awesome december.

Nice! I'm just thinking that if it's this good here, it must be crazy good in cb and steamboat.

CB still needs a lot more base to be really good, but this'll help get em there!

WP - trees could use one more storm, but damn good turns this morning, especially Drunken Frenchman.
No shortage of people on the MJ side, hopefully this storm gets the crowd sucker known as Panoramic open.

No action shots that do 11" justice (legs are in midseason form, photog skills are not), but it sure was pretty up there. Winter certainly came in like a lion.

AB was deep, caught a few rope drops, that were even deeper. Still a little bony in a few spots, but what a great base.

Yeah not so much... it was surprisingly busy for how cold... snow was really really good though. You should have fun tomorrow

WP side actually skied better than MJ today. Mulligans, Balsh, and Outrigger were perfect.

    Parsenn opening midweek next week.

At the mountain again tomorrow if anyone wants to ride.

I bet. There's a ton of spots on the park side that are really fun and pretty secluded.

But I was getting first tracks that I wasn't interested in sharing!

Yesterday was the luckiest day of my life in terms of rope drops. I was the first person into so many good runs, I couldn't believe it. The cherry on top was when they opened the dumps late afternoon after most people had left... just ridiculous.
