You guys live in Summit County - it's like the Disneyland of the Rockies, fer fucks sake. And you're complaining on the internet about too many people taking pictures of bare trees on trails you likely never ride or hike?

Well I don’t live in summit county, but I think people taking pictures of bare trees is pretty funny. Even if the mountains are gorgeous behind them.

Found some moose this morning myself, and a few golden leaves this evening. Pretty nice out there right now.

I dont think anyone is complaining, more like joking about it. Laughing at the absurdity of it all. Definitely the busiest peeper season I have seen. I feel like it was never really that big of a deal in the pre social media era.

It certainly feels like this on our valley. Our Fall off-season has been feeling shorter and shorter every year.

Actual fall has started, highs in the low 60's in summit from now on instead of low 70's

Is there a good boot fitter in Copper? I was able to form some low cuff lange racing boots for $100, couldn't pass it up. They almost fit perfectly, but I would like to heat and stretch the shell, at least on the right foot.

Saw 28 deg this morning at my house. Could start blowing snow here anyway.

Honestly if this warm/dry weather continues into November, we might be set up for a great snowpack for once. I know it won't work out... but still...

Does this mean I can bitch about the "Aurora Peepers" clogging up the parking on the Pass(es)? It was a slight shitshow up there. Although I must say, it was a much cooler crowd than the Leafers.

Just glad I saw it as I missed the last few. Crazy how many we've had this year. I'd love to see it somewhere really far north where it's actually visible to the naked eye though.

Will be very happy to see snow on the ground this weekend, getting antsy here, so ready to ski. I'll head out on the bike shortly, but it's just not the same.

Rode Drop Shaft at Virginia Canyon after work today. What a fun trail! Loved the second half of the trail that runs down through the forested halfpipe-like gully and then ends with a wooden corkscrew bridge.
