Just EGE-DEN? F9 is very survivable on a short flight! That could be quite useful if you have no checked bags. But if you do...

If only you could interline F9 to UA, but I sincerely doubt F9 would do it. I know UA won't interline to non-*A. So you'd literally have to claim and check at DEN.

Seriously! Trading "problems driving to Vail" for "problems getting to the airport, problems with ski luggage, problems with arriving aircraft delays, aircraft mechanical, crew, weather in Denver, weather in Eagle, then getting a rideshare or cab, or a 1 hr bus ride assuming the road is open on that side of things...

I understood that, but I bet there are days when it's a close call.

I have not bought a ski pass yet. Not sure if I will. You can thank me for the continued summer weather.

Landing in EGE, "Welcome to Vile!" Looks a lot like Gypsum to me. Bring back the good old days of free parking!

EGE $6/day is the same as the 56th and Pena PnR and some of the private sattelite lots for DEN.

Flown out ofEGE a few tomes. Always nice. No security lines, nice and uncrowded. Tix arent always that much more than denver. Main worry is getting rerouted because of weather. Hasn’t happened but definitely could.

Definitely have seen the DEN-EGE planes get delayed more readily as they are smaller

EGE is a nice airport. Same distance as the crow flys, to Aspen or Vail.
More flights and airlines is good, it's just too bad Frontier sucks.

    Hopefully voters approve ASE's expansion/upgrade.

Yes, the weather has been outstanding!

Wind in the forecast on Saturday. I'm guessing the rest of the leaves around here will be ripped off the trees by the end of the day. Then the long wait to chairs spinning. Sigh.

Maybe they’ll tell their friends and then by next weekend we can get some chill around here.

Driving over Red Mountain Pass earlier this week and the hordes were still out in force, but taking photos of trees with no leaves. You missed your moment why do you still need a picture?

I mean... the mountains are still pretty nice, even without the leaves.
