Wait a minute, makers is a woman, wouldn’t have figured that.

All this moisture made it humid, sweating to much on the driving range, can’t you locals fix this shit.

Anyone have an idea what the hiking trails condition at bear lake this weekend ( event related)

    Edit found a conditions page.

They are saying Bear Lake still snow covered. micro spikes and poles recommended.

Anyone know whether the hike off the top of Kensho chair at Breck is still open (and will remain so through the weekend)? I was contemplating heading out the gate this weekend and skiing one of the sky chutes towards Copper.

Mary Jane still skiing great early in the day. Holy shit Berthoud Pass is a minefield. Not too hard to avoid the big ones but some weren’t so lucky. Counted three abandoned vehicles up there with busted wheels. CDOT has a ton of work to do.

Sounds like maybe The Jane will close on the 28th, maybe it won't. It will depend of whether we start getting some overnight freezes and whether people keep showing up.

Basin moved up the Festival of the Brewpubs to this weekend instead of the traditional Memorial Day weekend event. Wonder what caused that, they must be aiming for less of a shitshow.

As of Noon today, there have been 131 skiers scanned at the Jane, 20 of which are employees. Bet it doesn't crest 200. Would love to see the balance sheet for days like this, cost of revenue has to be brutal.

Love that the Patrollers call it Red Coat Resort once we hit May.

Insanely green plus streams/water crossings in places that rarely flow. Click image for larger version.

19 years in Denver and I've never seen smoke like this in town. I live about 1.5 mile due east of the capitol and can barely see the skyline

This smoke is making me paranoid. Are we sure this isn't some massive pollution cloud from China?
