I heard that now that UTVs are banned from city streets, the Aspen crown has been looking at investing.
Really, there isn't a "Next great town" to move to. A wise man once said: "Home is where you make it".

Salida sucks. It’s too far from Vail.

Young people priced out of Salida fleeing to Del Norte. Is nice to have Salida an easy 1.5hr drive to mix things up occasionally.

Can they build a real highway from Morrison to Salida? That would be great for the local economy.

I've never seen anyone stick up for Albuquerque before. Impressive. Could be the next Denver. Some good ski hills nearby. Cheap drugs also I would hope.

Lake City has "city" in the name so they must be a real city.

I thought Breaking Bad made ABQ look pretty rad. Way better than fucking Boulder. A lot more culture and probably way less bullshit hippies. I get the feeling that people there listen to metal too, unlike CO where people only listen to god awful jamgrass crap. Fuck yo banjo!
Actually, the closest I've ever gotten to ABQ was flying around it in a helicopter and refueling next to a sky crane at their airport. That was cool, and there was a hot chick working at the FBO. Other than that, I also know that it has like 4 times the population of Boulder and Boulder calls itself a city, so whatever.
I'm really just trying to avoid doing a shitload of work sitting in front of me today, so if someone could give me one good reason why Albuquerque is better than Boulder, I'll shut up.

Man, I went to Las Cruces for the first time a few months back. It was only for a day, but I have to admit, I was highly impressed. Those Organ mountains in the backdrop are like Chamonix (at least in my eyes). And palm trees, tacos and seemingly suburban niceties. Really want to go back some day.
Edit: and this article from 2007.
