That's funny. I have not been over there for a week but thought they had taken it down when I did not see it there. Saw a pit someone dug and it was 10' deep and they didn't get to the ground hit a tree top. just saw photos on their facebook. They should of just left it buried.

No; it's called tipping the hat to a worthy adversary. You give them a few days of sun, let the hot heads blow off, then you kick them in the nuts so hard that they will never be able to breed.

Is this even possible? Because if it is, I'm sorely tempted to fly to Ohio to kick my BIL square in the marbles...

nice chalky snow at the basin but you sure feel every little ripple and ski track as you edge over them. so much so I managed to bust a toe plate on a pivot 14 as I compressed into a bump a bit hard. Who is it here that works in a shop in breck again? seeing if I can track this part down somehow. thanks!

Might be full on Jan thaw, but it's still skiing well out there. Spaulding bowl n such at Copper yesterday was still skiing great. Hooray mid winter and low sun angle! Just need some wind to smooth out the alpine here in Breck for some mach speed wind chalk turns.

I was surprised how well things skied yesterday. E facing trees, summit zone, 9k-11k. I expected things to be somewhat sun fucked. They were not. It was fun. The end.

I skied Copper on Tues and it was marvelous above treeline.
