    Maggot down.

Vibes to all that knew him. Seems like a rad dude, wish I had gotten a chance to meet and ski with him.

    Colorado Weather Discussion Thread

As good a guy as you can find in this sometimes fucked up world. A truly amazing individual was taken from us all today. Just about the only one I skied with in midwinter. Not really sure where to go from here, and I’m far from the only one who feels this way. He was a mag, and a true friend to many. Loved to ride more than anyone I know - by a mile.

    "Mag down" always sucks.
It's clear he was an absolute ripper, and was respected and loved by many.
Sorry guys, I'm sure it's a tough day for you.

Man, after my desert trip being cut short I was bummer to have to come back to skiing, then I skied. Holy shit! The coverage is better than all last season! Went to the Basin, Beavers were meh, but the lack of traffic on Pali meant it was really nice. Snowing now, so hopefully the Steep Gullies open soon. The mountain really spread people out now, mainly because of the new shitty lift is so slow and poorly located. But hey, whatever.

    And RIP to the Mayor.

Saw him out there pretty much every time I went out. He’d usually be on lap two when I was getting out for lap one. My good friend used to live with him. Very sad. Stay safe everyone

My condolences to what sounds like a great Mag, and his friends and family. Sounds like a terrible accident. Ride in peace, and enjoy those endless powder runs in Valhalla.

So fucking nice! We are on an unplanned "Staycation" after we cut a desert trip short because we had to come back put our dog down (RIP Charlie). Making the best of a shitty situation and putting in some midweek ski days around Summit. Skied A-basin and Keystone today, so much terrain open and nobody around. Pretty incredible.

Thanks buddy, he was a good shop dog back in the day. I think he might have tested the waterproofing on a few pairs of ski pants, but don't tell Don.
