To be fair, the last forecast I saw was for 4-24", so he wasn't far off!

Snowmass got slammed with at least 16”.
To be fair to Joel, how do you forecast these spring storms that are so localized?

Breck up high has been good. Was quiet early on 6 then Imperial opened and caught some deepness off the Whales Tail cornice. Had filled in to about 10” new.

Depends where you are. Best bowl runs of the season at Highlands this morning. Glad I opted for that instead of riding with the whole Front Range in Fruita.

    Runs is impressive.

Walsh’s was really deep and untracked, but the face was kind of tracked up by noon.

The Basin skied pretty great!! Snowed all day; and the sun never showed up so that kept turns soft and fluffy. The lots were filled by 8:30.

Loveland was actually pretty good yesterday. super bummer it wasn't the 8-16" he promised the day before, but still had a great day. pretty good snow and no people. Have had most of the best days of the season at Loveland in April, so I'm not too disappointed

Damn, maybe I should have gone. Woke up at 5:00, saw a couple inches on the snow stake cams and basically nothing on the snotels and said fuck it. Figured it’d be dust on crust. Since the parking lot was full by 8:30 I’m guessing the pow lasted until about 8:45?

For reference that first picture was taken right off lower east wall at 3:30 so actually no... I was surprised the turns kept getting better as the day went on.

Much better weekend than anticipated. Stayed socked in all day on the divide. Back to cold and blower for a day was a great feeling.
