I have the feeling their customer service is full of frustrated pot smoking college dropouts who never taught theid be answering a phone for 13$/h instead of shredding it up....

this may be a dissenting voice, but...

i got the code, and went ballistic, i figured i would score a bunch of stuff, i ordered about 1300 dollars worth of stuff, which came out to about 720$

it got here fast, i have to give them that.

i opened all of the stuff, and was disgusted at all of it. koven jacket, zorro jacket, enclosure parka, razar pant, run-don't- walk top... etc

all of it(large, which i have always been), was way oversized, non-athleteically cut, and generally weak, quality wise.

i know most of the stuff we buy in made in china, but this stuff was looking like something you would pick up in wal-mart, with a cloudveil logo on it.

all of it went back, i thought of selling it on here for cost, but i felt like i would be selling someone garbage.

the stuff i got was garbage, weak quality, totaly unimpresed.

    that's my story..

My RPK jacket is good quality and fitment is fine. I bought it last year though so I'm not sure if this year is as good.

I received my order that I placed on Friday, Nov 30th promptly with great email communication from Cloudveil's online ordering system. In fact, I called them Monday and added an additional Koven jacket at the coupon code price (Mucho Graci). We received the shipment promptly. I received 2 (w) Koven jackets, 1 (m) koven pant, 1 (w) Inversion jacket and 2 (w) Troller Mitts.

The Cloudveil material and construction quality is very, very good certainly on par with or superior to my Arcteryx, Black Diamond, Patagonia, Mountain Hardware, Helly Hensen, Mont Bell, Marmot and North Face clothing I have.

I skied with my new Koven pants yesterday and they worked superb. They have a great fit and the construction and attention to details is excellent.

This was my first purchase of Cloudveil products and certainly not my last.

    Thank you very much Cloudveil!

But 45% off is big money to some of us, and for this douche to fuck it up for everyone just isn't cool.

Yeah, I'm late to the party. Obviously. But you dont' see me crying into my fucking Kix. Guess what? Every year at this time there is a code, and every year some people get stuff, and some don't because the company pulls it without warning. Thats the reality of promotions.

All the emoticons in the world aren't gonna get you some new wicked sweet threads. Sorry, Claire.

Cloudveil doesn't give a shit if their code gets sold...just means more gear out the door for them. This "secret" code comes out every year. It gets posted like crazy on the deal forums and on here, it stays good for a couple days, they hit their quotas, and they pull it. And every year, somebody cries and starts pointing fingers because they missed out.

It's actually pretty funny that people are dumb enough to pay for a code that's so easily found w/ a google search.
Remind me. We'll send him a red cap and a Speedo.

    Exactly.

I wore my new inversion jacket today in 12 degree weather for exactly one half hour. I was sweating profusely just walking around. Can't wait for some cold air to try this thing out.

    I own Cloudveil stuff purchased in 1999, 2002, 2005, 2006 and 2007. I don't notice any different in quality.

Yeah, but when you're a size small everywhere else, there's not much you can do with Cloudveil! I don't have a problem with the shells since I'm usually wearing a fleece or down liner, but OY, the other products are just way to big for small dudes.

Too bad, I like Cloudveil but Patagucci, Mountain Hardwear, and MontBell will get more of my cash.
