Oh yah baby!!!!!
I have been avoiding any TV and most web sites all evening so as not to jinx the Flames. (Every game I had watched up to now the Flames lost. But when I didn't turn on the tube they won.)
About time for us long suffering Flames fans. Next up, Detroit. Watch out EC maggots, it's miracle time.

Good for Calgary. I couldn't really choose who I wanted to win, I just wish that these teams didn't have to play each other so they both could have gone on.
Great fucking series.Last edited by fridge; 04-20-2004 at 12:38 AM.

Well, matching the 4 Canadian teams up in round 1 eliminated 2 of them. Efficent. Now time for the remaining.
Gee, ya think Bertuzzi would have made a difference here??

Just not much of a squeak at all. What'd you think of that Doug? Could you stay up this late?

how the hell could you fall asleep watching that game?
One of the best hockey games i've ever seen."They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety."

Kind of feels good. 1989 was a long time ago.

yeah, not to gloat or anything, but the red wings are a bunch of washed up old has-beens and there was no way with that many players over 40 they were going to make it passed the flames.

Fantastic game tonight. Going into the last seconds of the first OT, it was playoff hockey at its finest. Good luck to the Flames in the next round. The excitement in Cowtown has got to be at a fever pitch- been a number of years since they were in the Western Finals.
