It was hardcore alright. I had to cross two lanes to find a parking space. The Bros have a special assignment up in Bellingham soon, but if any Seattle mags want them for a day or two before they head north, PM me.

Bump. Where are they now? Anywhere near Idaho? Which way are they moving? Enquiring minds want to ski these things!
Shut your eyes and think of somewhere. Somewhere cold and caked with snow.

Alpental
Bros are going to Alpental tomorrow night for a session (5-9pm) as long as the pass stays open. Any mags want to meet up? I'll be up at Stevens on Saturday and could bring them up there if anyone wants to try them out. We should hand them back to Schmear since he's headed to B-ham mid week. PM me for my number if anyone's interested.

Is there any chance the Bros make it to CO by March 1?? If so, I'm coming from NYC to Denver to visit my sister and on to Summit county March 1-5.
I could bring 'em back East and deliver to some NE mags the following week...??

yes, i have a pair of 183's for people to try - i usually hit sugarbush and elk mtn here in PA. one dude from here (blur) got on them last sunday and was stoked (of course).......i don't have a "hand-off" pair like the 192's floating around out west, maybe they should send those big bastards here to go on a tour.

If you don't have snow outside your door, what the fuck are you living there for?"

Alpental
The Bros ripped Alpental last night. It was a solo mission since I didn't meet up with any maggots, so no group shots. I had a great time on these skis and I'm now saving to buy a pair a pair. They're now sporting an Alpental sticker and had their Washington virginity taken. Excuse the photography skills as I was equipped with a 7 year old point and shoot digital and I suck at pictures.
On the chair getting ready to enjoy the snow.
There were still some untouched stashes if you looked hard enough in the trees.
Scenic chair shot.
A good end to a fun night.

The BroVenture is on hold while the skis get repaired. When I picked them up, I noticed a delam under the boot of one ski. The skis are at ProSki to be worked on Thursday. The delam is right at the base/ski interface. It didn't get any bigger when I skied them, but I don't weigh much and the snow was sugar powder. Hopefully ProSki won't charge an arm and a leg for the repair and I can get them moving back to Schmear for some Bellingham love.

They could prolly use a stone grind too. They were tip & tail concave and mid base high when I had them, but I could only knock down some of it with a lil belt action and a lot of elbow grease. - enough to make them fun tho. I wish somebody around here had a grinder...
Good to see them travelin!
