one of my favorite calabo LP's of all time.

anything with bobbito is a classic. but godfather don and kieth are so fly on this whole record.

i like ice cream, kid. i like carvel.
i read comics and books, yeah marvel.

edit: i suppose '93 isnt old school. but its good school.

blurred, that tim dogg song jarred a memory from '95. tim and keith were realeasing some singles that would eventually make up the Ultra album that they put out in '96, "big time". its a great album if you dont have it. there was a b-side on one of the singles called "Outtatowniggaz". tim dogg has brutal rhymes on it. i found it on youtube but the ending is cut off, so its not as sweet as the last of this stanza is incomplete.

i'm outtatown, leaving bitches freezing on the block.
i'm outtatown, with my lexus in the fucking shop.
i'm outtatown, with bank rolls in my motherfucking tube socks

Your first post reminded me of Spice 1. Here's the best Spice 1 ever, Runnin out the Crack House

Tupac: Mind Made Up. One of the best line ups in hip hop. Tupac, Daz, Kurrupt, Method Man and Red Man.

Anyone else listen to AZ? One of the most underrated rappers ever. AZ: Sosa

Not really old school, but good hip hop. Blackalicious - Deception

    Defari, Focused Daily

    Rakim - It's Been A Long Time

    Gangstarr- Mass Appeal

Souls Of Mischief - From 93 Till Infinity

    Atmosphere: Clay

    Tribe: Oh My God

Damn, all this hip hop brought me back.

Bobbito taught me rap slang back in 1988. He was working for RUSH Management in some swanky penthouse in NYC. I had long hair, purple socks, and birkenstocks...a converted wannabe hippie spinning rap music at my college radio station on his first trip to rap mecca.
