Guns N Roses cover album heard in Chile

I was talking to some friends about this music/album I heard in Chile (at La Posada in Portillo) this Summer.

There was a bunch of covers of GNR songs by this female singer playing at the bar. Unfortunately I don't remember the name of the artist. I've looked into allmusic.com, I didn't recognize any of the names.

I like some GNR songs, but I wouldn't qualify myself as a fan. Maybe some GNR connaisseurs know which album/artist I'm talking about.

    Thanks

No necessarily a Chilean cover band, but just a CD that was playing in a Chilean Bar.

From my understanding, it wasn't necessarily a cover band, but a band or female artist that did a whole bunch of GNR songs on one of her/their CDs. It was real big in that bar and people seem to know it, except our tiny group of gringos.

Yes, I had done that already. Also checked on allmusic.com, but I don't remember the name of the band.

When we were in Argentina this summer, we heard some Bossanova Rolling Stones album playing in a cafe. After googling back home, found the album: "Bossa n' Stones".

They also have an album: "Bossa n' Roses"

I know that at the end of the movie "Big Daddy" Sheryl Crow does "Sweet Child O'Mine" but I don't know if that is the only one she did. Possible this was what you were thinking of???

Flat pack - Sweet child o'mine (linus lovers remix)

There are a bunch of remixes of Flat Pack's version of Sweet Child. Mylo's is also pretty good.

I was in Cozumel, MX at the Iberostar Resort and I heard the exact same album playing. That's what brought me to this thread, I'm trying to find it as well.

    It was not Sheryl Crow

So I just sucked it up and called Iberostar and asked - I got directed to the Bossa N Roses album. However upon listening to it - it is various artists - and the only one that i THINK is the group is track 7, Knockin on Heavens Door by United Rythms of Brazil, and i cant find really ANY other songs by them...
