    Dukes or 916s on praxis?

    hey folks i just got a new pair of praxis and am wondering which binding to put on them. i have a pair of 916s and a pair of dukes. my other ski is is legend pro rider. thanks for all of your help and advice!

    a little bit more information about me. live in stockton, ski primarily in tahoe, homewood, squaw, kirkwood. love to ski fast, very aggressive, enjoy hucks, straightlining, thinking of enterring a few big mtn comps.

    irul&ublow, i didn't get the message from marker about the dukes is there anyting i should know?

    No...I was just fucking w/ you because some douchebag put up a thread earlier about the Dukes being recalled. But there may be something to the spontaneous combustion issue.

    I think you should take the springs out of the 916s and replace them with burly industrial springs used in steel pressing machines so that you may get an effective DIN of 45. This is really the only way to ensure your skis stay on your feet when hucking.

    with a couple of welds and hinges in the right places you can

    but the whole binding setup i built weighs about 14 lbs (per binding)

    in hindsight i figured i probably should have just drilled my boots onto the ski with a hinge at the toe that i can lock down

    that way i have an infinity DIN (suck on that race fags)
