I ski them and find they are ok at everything, excel at nothing.
I just sort of forget about them.
I haven't tried a ton of mid 90 touring skis, though.

Just heard that Cannon was bought by Loon. They have a plan building a gondola up Franconia notch connecting them with sick glades up both sides of the notch being serving by multiple 6 and 8...

You can overnight park at the trailheads in Franconia notch state park no problem. Lafayette campground or falling waters trailhead. Might be nicer than the Walmart.
People park and go overnight...

I agree. Even trying on a boot with unbaked liner hurts. Makes it so difficult to find a good fit.

I have no idea. My first day ever on skis wider than 110 and it was super fun. Laughing as I plowed through and down it all.
I'm also the best skier on the mountain, which helps.

In New England, yes, I think so. Ski season is shorter and shorter and really worse and worse. With a few exception years, and northern New England still OK. We still get plenty of great days, but...
