We received the MVP 109 in 187 that I ordered for my 15 year old son. They are really well finished skis. He had been a Volkl fan but now sees the light.

I am a big guy like you and my current powder ski is the Praxis Protest in 192. You really cannot go wrong with the Protest.

My son is 5'8" or 5'9"and weighs around 140. His new skis are Volkl 100Eight at 173.

When the snow is decent, a Lost Trail, Disco, Maverick loop can be a lot of fun.

On3p Wren 98 is my ski for that niche. Targhee is my home mountain so there are many soft snow days that I am on something wider.
