Ptex is as solid as they come.

Pretty sure that's my old pair that I sold a year or so ago. Hard to confirm without seeing the full bases but they to-sheet and bindings wear and tear look identical.

I'm on the lookout for a new pair of backcountry sticks. Something 180 and up, above 100MM, near new or well used with some life left. These will be predominately used for longer distance late...

This is the penalty I must pay for forgetting my old handle. Go figure.

Also curious about how the step in guides on the viper broke. Though I have no personal use with them, that doesn't seem like a weak point to me.
