I just lick the straps or squirt some water for my water bottle on the pads and drink the salt.

12 speed Shimano chain, for real? In all my years I've never seen that happen but, I've been a pin guy before 12 speed came along.

Just barrow or buy a used cheap wheel and see if you like it. All the internet marketing and forum geek propaganda about millimeters and slight angel change is just bible talk.
Maguras, I bought the bleed kit but never used it. I just stuck a funnel in the lever, added oil and flick the lever a bunch and tap the line with a screwdriver handle. Walk away with funnel attached...
