Considering the issues the old lifts have, yeah... it was time. I'd guess the lift crews are sick of working till 9 a few times a week in order to try and keep the lifts passable.

Its A-basin. They met the guy at the top, just said "go meet Alan at the bottom" and radioed down the guys description for the 30 seconds he was out of patrols view. lol. Only time they bother...

Really, if you have a good exposure with little compression you can get a beautiful print up to 20X30 from even a 6MP camera. People put all this emphasis on DPI and how image quality will suffer...

Go out at night if theres a storm... theres your best bet.

Did you hike or did you stay on lifts. If you stayed on lifts then Loveland at 13,010. If you hiked to the top of the east wall then A-basin at 13,050. But 40 feet doesn't make much difference...
