FWIW, a few people who I’ve talked to that have skied both say the Hawx 130 XTD is a bit stiffer or supportive.

Also, I’ve read that some expansion of the ankle area is required for a good skiing...

Thanks, I remembered the Lange being an outlier... so it running long makes sense to me also.

The Atomic Hawx and Backland are both shorter (internally) at the same mondo size than the Cochise and old ZeroG molds. I’m pretty sure the Lange XT or whatever they call it now is also shorter.

Do these boots run longer like the Cochise and old ZeroG series? If so, sizing up the liner makes good sense.
