A shop will probably not mount within 7mm of existing holes, but you can. Use wood plugs and epoxy for close holes before drilling.

That Cochise model is notorious for the walk/ski unit failure. You might try to find a donor boot, but it will most likely happen again if you’re trying to get a bunch of days out of them.

Any shop that carries Atomic should be able to order directly from Atomic. I don’t know any shop that stocks the redster in the pnw.

On the WC108 and WC I detuned 2” past the wide points on the tips and tails. I then went another 1-2 past those points and they got looser with no noticeable difference in edge hold on firmer snow.

Going up 10 mm is no problem usually with shift brakes. It’s preferable to have at least a 10mm step down so the brakes tuck up tight and don’t catch when touring.
