Marshal to the rescue! I’m all set, got what I need.
98 and 108 but I do weigh 230. From what I’ve heard these are known to crack. I’ve gotten quite a few days out of both sets.
Do you know if those others toes you mentioned share the same hole...
I've got 2 pairs of these mounted up on 2 different sets of skis and noticed recently that 1 toe on each pair of skis is cracked around the mounting hole.
Anyone holding onto some uncracked ones...
I like to camp. I do it frequently and sometimes for a couple of weeks or more at a time since I can work remote. The battery setup on my current truck is sub par. I recently added some portable...

Not musically related but they will keep my beer cold.
Building a DIY lithium iron phosphate battery for my new camper setup. 100 amp hour for less than half the price of a Battle Born.
this is going to be like asking for advice on tires but I've really liked the Leatt airflex pro. I wear them just about every ride, usually get a season out of them. For the most part they stay in...
Thanks Andeh and Boissal, looking forward to trying them and sounds like the extra $10 over normal shimano pads is probably worth it.

Picked up a new rear brake rotor today. BT seemed like a good way to bed it in. Bit of a rut on the upper part from that last storm but the bottom 2/3rds are currently in fantastic tacky...
Probably but nothing beats the first hand info from the sexperts on here
Anyone tried MTX brake pads? Guys at the local shop were raving about them. Made (designed I guess) by a local guy here in SLC who came from a moto background. I grabbed a pair and will try them...

Found a hot spring (more of a hot river) in BFE Nevada while driving back from a week in Oregon
Definitely very smokey this morning. I feel like I got pretty lucky this past week. The smoke wasn’t bad at all, no one broke into my truck and I caught a vertically challenged guy having sex with a...
Crawfish was pretty fun, kind of reminded me of a lot of trails around Bellingham with all the roots to double and pop off. There's another trail out there that I forgot the name of but it's really...
I've had some luck with burning the pads with a torch, assuming these are metal pads. Not sure what that would do to resin pads but I'm guessing they could handle the heat as well.

Isn’t that empire? Pretty sure it is but that feature fell apart a while ago.
13 or 14 years young and still clocking miles. Not that many and not very fast but rode some of the middle fork of the Willamette trail today then went for a swim.

Sunset lap on Moon...
Rained a little bit last night. Met up with some locals at the top of Eula. Got some good info from them, some things added to my list that definitely weren’t on my radar (or trailforks) before.

Chad sounds fun, I’d have a beer with him.
Based on what I’ve seen, I would not camp anywhere along the Salmon, at least not in the first 5 miles or so. I haven’t driven further than that. I was...
That sucks! Some people shouldn’t be allowed out of their house!
Another day of exploring around Oakridge biking and looking for cool spots to let the dog swim. There’s broken down trailers all...

Found a massive black berry patch yesterday while looking for somewhere to swim after my ride. Had to go back today and fill up a big container.

Smooth, very fast and in...
I've only been on Shimano 12s for a little bit but this has been my experience as well. I killed an XT derailleur pretty quickly, a ton of play developed between the top half and bottom off and it...
I was definitely wondering if it had anything to do with that. Seems likely.
Is Oakridge going to shit? I might be biased because some trasher stole my camp chair that was holding my camp spot and in return left a truck load of trash behind but it seems much shittier than...
Real nice sunset lap in sun valley. East fork to Osberg to Alden is a great little loop.

Hell of a weekend! Highly recommend making this next year if you can. Pretty small turnout this year but it made it fun because you got to know everyone and we all rode together. Around 15 people...
Anyone else going? I'll probably head up Thursday after work, down to ride Friday if anyone is around.
I've never ridden with him so it's hard to say yet but he's not a complete newbie, this is his first year biking and has been riding trails up around Missoula, some of which sound on the rougher side...
Thanks Phall! I thought I had heard that you couldn’t take bikes on the bus anymore or that it was really limited how many you can get on?
Any suggestions on a somewhat mellow PCMR loop? I've got a friend in town who's kind of new to biking but interested in getting out, gonna let him borrow my spare bike and drag him around for a bit....
Did something similar yesterday morning. there’s a bus that you can get at the swamp lot. Not sure the schedule but we grabbed a 7:10 for $2 and then got our $’s worth of jank until around noon then...
This sounds pretty fun, think I might try to make it this year.
Without stopping I reached around into my hip pack, grabbed my 2nd beer and opened it with my teeth. I thoroughly enjoyed that pavement cruise out. It was a tough call whether this was the coolest...
pulled the trigger yesterday on an 8k system which should give us just over 100% coverage. electricity is fairly cheap in Utah (.08 - .10/kwh) but if nothing else this seems like a pretty good way...
I’ve almost knocked on your door a few times basinbeater, been hoping to catch you in the front yard after a bike ride one of these days so we could talk audio, land cruisers and bmws, seems like...
couple weekends ago at Purgatory

you can crack the screw at the lever to let a little fluid out but in my experience if you just go ride them for a little bit the system will equalize pretty quick and everything will be fine.
Crazy! Thanks for filling in some of the info. Sounds like he's doing well all things considered but has a long recovery in front of him. I was surprised to hear it because he's really talented...
Yeah, Jason. Do you know what he was riding?
Ive got a friend who lives up that way that recently got broken off pretty bad on some new jumps, bad enough to have to get flown to Seattle. Wonder if it was those, I haven’t gotten much details...
Probably wouldn't be that fun on a bike is my impression, it's a bitch of a climb on the moto and usually very blown out. There are some trails not on the map around the AF overlook that would be...
Up Hotel Draw. Little bit of snow at the very top but I bet it will be gone soon.
That Dutch loop felt a good bit harder than the stats say, maybe it was the elevation or the heat but it’s a bit of an ass kicker. Real fun though!

Corral is snow free but has maybe 10...
quite smooth actually, you should have seen it before the cleanup.
Don't encourage him.
No signs of any trail closures up above shoreline last night.

We definitely need more green flow trails. I'm on board!
Does that mean anything above Terror is closed as well?
edit : I'm getting some mixed info on the current state of things. Bike shop guys said it's definitely closed off from the top but I talked...
Is it true that Terror has been shut down? Was just in the bike shop and they were talking about this.
I haven't personally ridden any of the new stuff but I have not talked to a single biker yet who had anything good to say about those new trails.

Took the wife out to slate creek. She enjoyed it, I liked it better than I thought I would.
