Never had the problem personally, I only really notice it for solid red graphics, like you see in the video, I've never noticed it with blues, surely I must have seen at least some solid blue...

Also what's the deal with vimeo videos having low quality reds? like it's basically VGA compared to the rest of the video.

The only viable disability that comes to mind is durability, because you could easily turn off the stabilization, but I'm not sure if the sensor constantly moving would make it more likely to break.

Got my d7000 today, such a great upgrade from a 550d.

Given that the d7100 can only shoot 6 photos at 14 bit I definitely wouldn't get it even if it was teh same price as the 7000, other negatives...
